To truly experience life in the bush during your stay and keeping comfort in consideration, Ama Amanzi offers three types of African accommodation to choose from. We do not offer self-catering facilities.

• The Farm House (Eco Experience)
• The African Lodges (Comfortable Thatched Lodges)
• The Civet Safari tent (Luxury Safari Tent)

In walking distance from the Farm House and in 3.5km from the other accommodations you will find our “Main Lodge”.  This is the main building with its various facilities inclusive of several comfortable terraces, covered and open. Furthermore, a lounge is availed for your disposal where you can read a book or simply relax on one of the lazy sofas.

The Main Lodge also has a double fireplace simply adding to the experience.

The bush-braai

The bush-braai (barbecue) at one of the “Braai Areas” became a trademark feature for Ama Amanzi Bush Lodge. The most succulent cuts of meat are chargrilled to perfection and taste on the braai or simply enjoy the flames from the fire after sunset. Authentic African main and side dishes will be prepared and served here. We even cater vegetarian on request.

Authentic, one bedroom house situated in the middle of the vegetable farm. Approx. 70m², comfortable with own bathroom, private bedroom and lounge area. Covered private terrace and private garden with surrounding Marula trees. Own entrance. Make your own hot water via the so called "donkey" and enjoy life without eskom electricity.

Powered with a combination of solar and Eskom. Free coffee & tea facilities, stocked bar fridge and snack basket, both based on the honesty bar principle.

All our buildings are built in balance with nature.

Our authentic African Bush Lodges are designed with modern facilities and are well maintained. All accommodations are personally decorated with their own specific colours. One will find stone orange and soft green for example of colours that naturally blend in with the bush yet give one a fresh modern feeling. Decoration is based on the minimalistic idea yet with an African touch.

Ama Amanzi has developed a beautiful, value- for- money accommodation in complete harmony with nature. Hence all large trees were kept intact during construction and construction was completed with as many natural materials as possible. Water is very precious and we all realize every day that we are fortunate to (temporary) live in this pristine environment. Most lighting and water on the property is provided via solar power systems.

Our goal is to have you feel at home at Ama Amanzi so you enjoy the bushveld at its most natural state, to live in the bush for a while as if it is your own private lodge.
